NEYDL

Data Management System for North East Young Dads and Lads

North East Young Dads and Lads (NEYDL) aim to support young dads (aged under 25) who live, work or study in the North East of England. They are a unique youth support service that is dedicated to helping young men and young fathers to play an active and meaningful role in the lives of their children, within families and wider society. They reach over 50 young men a year and spend, on average, over 40 hours with each young man they meet.

NEYDL received funding from the North East Social Tech Fund to develop a data management system to help them manage their service delivery and to provide a platform for them to report on their impact.

After a competitive pitching process, Throneware were chosen to deliver this work. We conducted several fact finding and discovery sessions with NEYDL and their staff to identify how best we could help their organisation work most efficiently while also capturing the data required to create the reports required by their funders.

As soon as the platform was implemented by NEYDL staff, it had an immediate positive impact. Comprehensive reports on NEYDL's data can be created instantly, which saves many hours of manual, error prone calculations.

We recently upgraded the system to include reminders, TypeForm integration and even more advanced, filterable reporting. We continue to work with NEYDL to continuously improve the system.

"Following an award from the North East Social Tech Fund, the North East Young Dads and Lads Project (CIO) has been working closely with Throneware to develop a bespoke data management system for our charity.

We have thoroughly enjoyed working with the team over the past 6 months and would strongly recommend their services to other organisations looking to develop similar tech / digital projects."
